"I invite every Catholic in our Archdiocese to support the critical shared ministries of our Archdiocese. Each of us has been given gifts and talents by God, who loves us and calls us to develop those gifts and share them for the building up of his kingdom. All gifts matter."
- Cardinal Seán O’Malley, O.F.M. Cap.
Each year, each parish in the Archdiocese encourages its parishioners to support the Catholic Appeal, which funds most of the central, shared ministries of the Archdiocese of Boston.
The Catholic Foundation raises funds to support the mission of the Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Boston. Major programs involve the annual Catholic Appeal, a major gifts program, a gift planning program, a permanent endowment program and various programs to assist parishes with fundraising needs.
The Stewardship & Development office invites Catholics throughout the Archdiocese to share their gifts of time, talent, and treasure with others through the many shared ministries of our Archdiocese and in each of our parishes.
The Office of Institutional Advancement is a collaborative group of ministries that seek to strengthen the Church’s ability to hand on our faith, grow in holiness and make a profound difference in the world. The office houses the ministries of The Catholic Foundation, The Stewardship & Development Office, CatholicTV, The Pilot Publishing Group, and various Archdiocesan websites.
The Gift Planning Group assists parishioners and parishes with many types of gifts, including bequests and life income gifts. In most cases, planned gifts allow parishioners to make significant gifts that sustain the Church’s ability to pass on the faith for many years to come.
The Boston Catholic Men’s & Women’s Conferences are annual events each Spring that draw thousands of Catholics together to share their faith, hear moving speakers, meet with various ministries throughout the Archdiocese and beyond, and celebrate Mass with Cardinal Seán.
